chloe's first trip to the zoo

last sunday, we went to the national zoo with katie, steve, and chloe. we arrived early to beat the crowds and the heat, so early that many of the animals were still asleep! chloe was fascinated by the elephant who was covering himself in dirt right after having a bath. she also liked the animal statues that were near each exhibit. our favorite animals were the cheetah and, of course, the pandas.
